Phastos can fit in a lot of decks, like thanos and control deck, unlike mr. negative, he don’t have a side effect, which means you can play him on turn 3 without thinking, I’d say it got potentials

This month overall was pretty disappointing. Sersi might be the best but she can also backfire quite a lot. Arishem is basically Distict X by choice. Might wait until next month.. but part of me wants to roll the Arishem week for the Black Swan and Hercules. They may not be popular but I see some uses for them. Particularly a Black Swan last turn zoo deck and paring Hercules with Prof X and Kingpin. But I really hope future cards add more to the game. Not necessarily OP, but enabling new deck types or making old deck types better.

HOrrible take Mr Negative is 4 energy to lose power Phastos is AT LEAST 3 power, and always buffs your cards no matter what Mr Negative CAN give you good high rolls... or do fkin nothing if drawn late or if your 3-4 reward cards are already in hand. Phastos always has benefit, even played vanilla, again, 3 power negative, no, summoned or played late and it's still a piece of shit. Phastos can be 50/50 a better nakia or that buff wakanda girl Or 50/50 for discounts, which is "like getting +1 energy" Not the same, sure, but either case is good, and for any deck while negative is constrained to ONLY high cost low-to-no power cards. Get phastos or negative randomly added, by location or effect, phastos is alright, negative is garbage In all cases but one, where you both get negative before T5 and all your negative-good cards not drawn, THEN negative is...still a -1 but the upside can be valuable While any other case, negative stinks

I think he is going to be good of course he guaranteed to be bad if you're unlucky just be lucky

I got Phastos while trying to pull for Corvus. It only took me two keys to get who I wanted.

I tired him both in a living tribunal deck along with a thanos ramp, both worked well if you acually draw him on curve and if he discounts instead of buffs.

I've done Phastos into Absorbing man as part of a surfer deck several times and its turned out very well in my favor each time

I'd really like to try Phastos with Thanos. Cheap cards that draw cards benefit a ton from his buffs. It's also going to be a crazy turn 2 high-roll with Arishem.

I wanted him so I used my two keys. Got the pig variant. And of course white widow which it gave me 1k tokens. I would have at least liked glave. I don’t even have him.

He's just too unreliable. You can't use him well in a buff deck centered around his buffs or in a value tempo deck centered around his cost reductions. Its ironic. His ability which allowed him to do both things prevents him from being reasonably useful and reliable in those same exact things.

i usually wait until ive seen a little bit of the new card before rolling for it, but phastos' effect just seemed so fun i got him immediately, now ive tried him in like three different builds and regret not waiting ugh lmao

What the heck? I thought too that I get to choose what effect it would be, and I open him too on my first spotlight cache. If they buff him to 2/3, he should be worthwhile.
